Tokyo Metro will sell an original 24-hour ticket featuring traditional Japanese patterns, known as “Wagari,” from July 17 to October 14.
The design incorporates Japanese traditional motifs with auspicious meanings and summer icons such as fireworks and goldfish. This limited edition ticket, available only for adults, will have 10,000 copies for sale. The ticket is valid for one day until April 30, 2025, starting from the time of the first station entry and covers all Tokyo Metro lines.
The tickets will be sold at Tokyo Metro Passenger Information Centers (6 locations), Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center, Chuo City Tourism Information Center, Tokyo City i Tourism Information Center, and Tourist Service Center TERMINI GINZA. The price is 600 yen. Refunds are available before the first use within the validity period, subject to a 220 yen handling fee per ticket.
