Kintetsu Railways will end the operation of the wrapping train ‘Mijumaru Train’ on July 18.
Mijumaru is a Pokemon that appears in the ‘Pocket Monsters’ series. Based on the comprehensive partnership agreement with Mie Prefecture, Mijumaru has been serving as the ‘Support Pokemon for Mie Prefecture’ since December 2021, and various collaborative projects have been implemented in Mie Prefecture.
The Mijumaru Train is a wrapping train decorated with Mijumaru both inside and outside. It has been operating mainly between Ise-Nakagawa Station and Kashikojima Station since July 1, 2022. The service operates on a fixed schedule on weekends and holidays.
Passengers who ride the Mijumaru Train will receive a sticker designed with Mijumaru and the Mijumaru Train. The distribution starts from July 1. One per person, available until stocks last. The distribution locations are inside the ticket gates at Toba Station, Ugata Station, and Kashikojima Station.
