Qingdao Airlines is set to launch a route between Osaka/Kansai and Qingdao on July 25th.
The service will operate three round trips a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A320neo aircraft equipped with either 30 or 12 premium economy seats and 150 or 168 economy seats, for a total of 180 seats.
Based at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport, Qingdao Airlines operates over 70 domestic routes within China, as well as more than 20 international routes to countries such as South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia. In Japan, the airline has been operating continuous charter flights on routes such as Ibaraki to Changchun, Fuzhou, and Nanjing, but these were suspended due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
