Hakuba Alps Hotel reopened on July 20th after its renovation.
In front of the breakfast venue, a spacious wooden deck and tables have been installed at the foot of a lush green slope. A picnic basket rental service has also started, offering breakfast menus with fresh local ingredients packed into takeout boxes or picnic baskets, allowing guests to enjoy their meal amidst the great outdoors.
In the winter season, the vast grounds in front of the hotel, which serve as ski and snowboard slopes, opened as the “Hakuba Norikura Gelande Farm”. Jersey cows and sheep are raised, and guests can experience feeding the farm’s sheep. Moreover, from August onwards, the hotel restaurant’s buffet plans to gradually introduce main dishes made with lamb and fresh Jersey cow milk sourced from the farm.
