JR East Sets ‘Tokuda-ne Special 21’ for Hokuriku Shinkansen Asama Service: Half Price and Other Discounts Between Tokyo and Nagano
JR East will sell the ‘Shinkansen e-Ticket (Tokuda-ne Special 21)’ at a 50% discount for reserved seats on regular cars of the Hokuriku Shinkansen’s Asama service from August 30 to September 12 for a limited section.
This e-ticket, sold exclusively on Ekinet, combines a train ticket and a reserved express ticket. It applies to all Asama trains between Tokyo, Ueno, Omiya and Karuizawa, Saku-daira, Ueda, Nagano stations. The main sections and sales amounts are Tokyo to Karuizawa station for 2,910 yen (normally 5,820 yen), Tokyo to Saku-daira station for 3,130 yen (normally 6,260 yen), Tokyo to Ueda station for 3,290 yen (normally 6,590 yen), and Tokyo to Nagano station for 4,060 yen (normally 8,140 yen).
The sale period is from 10 a.m. one month before the ride until 11:50 p.m. 21 days before the ride. There is also a child price and a ‘Shinkansen e-Ticket (for the disabled)’.
