Shin Nihonkai Ferry will be offering an ‘Onboard Genghis Khan’ event from August 1 to 18 for those departing during this period.
Passengers can enjoy Genghis Khan (mutton BBQ) on the ferry’s deck paired with the scenic views at sea. Sample menu prices include a Genghis Khan set (with vegetables) for 2,200 yen, a single serving of Genghis Khan for 1,900 yen, and draft beer for 700 yen among others.
The company operates ferries connecting Hokkaido’s Otaru and Tomakomai with Akita, Niigata, Tsuruga, and Maizuru.
