Tokai Transport Operations will change its name to “JR Tokai Transport Operations” effective October 1.
Tokai Transport Operations, in addition to operating the Jokita Line, undertakes counter services at conventional line stations, remote customer support service operations, and telephone center operations dealing with various inquiries and lost and found items, under the contract with JR Tokai. The name change is to clearly indicate its affiliation with the JR Tokai Group.
There will be no changes to the logo, and the English name of the company will be “JR-Central Transport Service Company”.
