Japan Airlines (JAL) will resume operations of the ‘Sakura Lounge Hale’ at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu from August 22.
The lounge, which opened in August 2018, features a reception counter made with lava stones, and the dining area is decorated with surf art that reflects ‘Hawaiian Craftsmanship.’ The design was handled by Ryu Kosaka and Hiroshi Takeuchi.
Hot meals, snacks, alcohol, and Wi-Fi are available. The meals are served buffet style, offering Hawaii-inspired pancakes, among other dishes. Draft beer is not available.
Located on the third floor of the departure gate area. After passing through security, it is accessible using the elevator in front of Gate C1 on the right hand. The operating hours are from 3 hours before departure to 30 minutes before the last flight departs.
Based on boarding class and membership status, customers will be guided to use the ‘Sakura Lounge’ while those using paid lounge services or various coupons will be primarily directed to ‘Sakura Lounge Hale’.
