Lufthansa, the German airline, has opened a new lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport in New York.
Located in Terminal B, the lounge spans 600 square meters. It has seating for approximately 170 people, which is 25% more than its previous capacity. The investment for the lounge was around 10 million euros.
One third of the space is dedicated to the needs of business users, featuring functional communal tables with wireless charging and printing options. The rest of the space offers seating options catering to various needs, from solo travelers to couples and large groups.
The highlight is the central Skyline Bar, where visitors can enjoy a wide selection of cocktails, wines, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks, and craft beers from New Jersey. The cuisine features menus made with local ingredients.
Lufthansa operates around 60 lounges worldwide in 17 locations.
