Japan Airlines (JAL) and JALPAK have begun accepting reservations on August 23 for the ‘Tabi Academy,’ a regional experience program focused on learning rather than tourism.
The ‘Tabi Academy’ is the first initiative in the ‘JAL FUTURE MAP,’ unveiled by JAL, which aims to create future connections through travel, focusing on learning experiences in local communities.
The program offers four classroom programs: Intro to Local Side Jobs, Village Producing, Business × Temples, and Introduction to Becoming a Micro Winery Owner of Japanese Wine, with separate fees for participating in local programs. Those who participate in both the classroom and local programs targeted for release by March 2025 will receive a 500 miles per person bonus.
