Japan Airlines (JAL) has added 6 new extra flights for today, August 30th, on routes from Tokyo/Haneda to Nagoya/Chubu and Osaka/Itami.
There are 6 flights on the Tokyo/Haneda to Nagoya/Chubu route using the Boeing 737-800, and a total of 4 flights on the Tokyo/Haneda to Osaka/Itami route, operating with Airbus A350−900 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft. For the Osaka/Itami route, there is also an upscaling of aircraft.
Due to heavy rain causing a suspension of service for the entire day on the Tokaido Shinkansen between Tokyo and Nagoya stations, both routes are nearly fully booked.
