Air Canada will resume flights on the Ottawa-London/Heathrow route on March 31, 2025.
The service will operate four round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, on a seasonal basis. A three-class Boeing 787 aircraft will be used for these flights. The introduction of the Airbus A321XLR aircraft in the latter half of 2025 is expected to enable year-round operation.
Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is anticipated to be a popular destination for both leisure and business travellers. Air Canada will be the only airline serving this route, operating up to 63 round trips a week from six Canadian cities to London/Heathrow.
