Toshio Minoguchi Appointed as Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Japan Office

The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced that Mr. Toshio Minoguchi was appointed as the Director of its Japan Office effective September 17.

Mr. Minoguchi hails from Kurisawacho in Hokkaido and graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies. After joining Cathay Pacific Airways in 1990, he served in various capacities including Marketing Manager of the Japan branch and Head of Marketing & Digital Sales for Japan and Korea, before joining the Hong Kong Tourism Board in June 2020 as the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Upon his appointment, Mr. Minoguchi stated, “I am honored to take on the role of Director of the Japan Office. I am keen to leverage Hong Kong’s unique blend of gourmet dining, breathtaking views, and vibrant mix of Eastern and Western cultures, to increase the number of tourists from Japan to Hong Kong.”
