Air China will increase flights on the Fukuoka-Shanghai/Pudong route starting September 28.
Currently, there are five round trips per week, and with the addition of operations on Tuesdays and Saturdays, it will become one round trip per day. An Airbus A321 will be used for the flights. The flight time is 2 hours from Fukuoka, and 1 hour and 50 minutes from Shanghai/Pudong.
This route had been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, and resumed operations in August 2023 with two round trips per week, increased to three round trips per week in September, and then to five round trips per week in December.
