Qantas Airways will launch its Melbourne-Honolulu service on May 1st.
The service will operate three round-trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The aircraft used will be the Airbus A330. The flight duration will be 10 hours and 35 minutes from Melbourne, and 11 hours and 35 minutes from Honolulu.
This will result in the end of operations on the same route by Jetstar Airways, a group company, and the aircraft will be redeployed to other long-haul routes.
