Air France Expands Its Winter Schedule to 169 Cities Including Debut of New First Class
Air France will fly to 169 cities across 73 countries in its winter schedule.
The airline will extend its service to Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, offering three round trips a week from Zanzibar. It will also launch three weekly flights to Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, increasing the number of Brazilian cities it serves to five. The airline will begin serving Manila with three weekly flights and Male in the Maldives with up to two flights a week during the holiday season. Its North American operations will also be expanded, including services to Denver and Phoenix among 23 continental cities with 235 round trips a week.
For medium-haul routes, Air France will enhance its Nordic network. It will commence a weekly flight to Kiruna in Sweden. As part of its commercial partnership with Scandinavian Airlines, it will provide seamless access to 33 Nordic cities via Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm.
The airline will continue to introduce new seating for its long-haul routes, starting this fall with the operation of Embraer E190 aircraft equipped with new cabins and USB-A and USB-C power outlets.
By the end of the year, it will unveil a new First Class “La Première” cabin, featuring the longest cabin in the market with five windows, available on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft flying routes between Paris/Charles de Gaulle and Tokyo/Haneda, Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/John F. Kennedy, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, and Washington.
