Scandinavian Airlines has appointed Mr. Peter Cabello Holmberg as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective from November 1st.
He will spearhead the digital transformation plan, focusing on promoting digital solutions, improving operational efficiency, and driving innovation to support future growth. The appointment was based on a deep appreciation for his customer-centric approach and commercial acumen, gained from extensive experience in the FMCG and retail sectors.
Mr. Holmberg has previously served as CIO for the Finnish consumer goods manufacturer Fiskars, after roles at Danish jewelry maker Pandora and the audio equipment sales company GN Group. He has also been nominated for CIO of the Year in Denmark.
