Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo is offering a ‘Halloween Afternoon Tea: Yokai Fashion Show in New York’ until October 31st.
The menu features sweets using seasonal ingredients such as chestnuts, sweet potatoes, pears, and grapes, including ‘Noppera-bo’s Grape Rare Cheese Cake’ wrapped in mochi with a grape truffle on top, ‘Cyclops’s Apple Opera & Hazelnut Tart’ with apple jam, buttercream, and ganache, and ‘Umbrella Ghost’s Sweet Potato Brownie’ with a white chocolate brownie base and sweet potato cream stuffed chocolate cone. For those opting for the premium plan, select drinks such as ‘Rokurokubi’s Pear & Caramel Mousse’, ‘Ittan-momen’s Cassis Mont Blanc’, and a choice between ‘Red Oni’s Rouge Dress or Blue Oni’s Blue Dress’ are provided, featuring a smokey stage effect.
The venue is on the 2nd floor at ‘District Brasserie, Bar & Lounge’. Available from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 2-hour limit for the afternoon tea, and dinner & afternoon tea from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Prices start from 8,200 yen for the premium plan, and 6,200 yen for the standard plan (tax included, service charge not included).
