AirAsia, in collaboration with Sega and Atlus, is operating special livery aircraft themed around ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ and ‘Persona 5’.
This initiative is part of the ‘The Colour Of Connection’ campaign conducted by AirAsia’s brand management division, AirAsia Brand Company.
An Airbus A330 of AirAsia X (Registration: 9M-XXU) is painted with characters from ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ such as Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Amy Rose, and an Airbus A320 of AirAsia (Registration: 9M-AFF) features ‘Persona 5’ characters Joker and Morgana.
The in-flight menu ‘Santan’ will offer a special menu item inspired by ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’—’Sonic’s Gold Ring Cake’. This donut creation is inspired by Sonic’s gold rings and is topped with a golden glaze and Sonic-themed toppings. It will be available on all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights.
In the first quarter of 2025, limited edition merchandise featuring ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ and ‘Persona 5’ designs is scheduled for release.
