Air New Zealand will resume operations on the Auckland-Seoul/Incheon route starting October 28.
The airline will operate three round trips per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays as a seasonal scheduled service until March 29, 2025. Boeing 787-9 aircraft will be used for the service. The flight duration from Auckland is 12 hours, and from Seoul/Incheon is 11 hours and 15 minutes.
As of June this year, the number of people visiting New Zealand from South Korea reached 70,000, making it the sixth largest market. Last year, New Zealand exported fresh produce such as avocados, blueberries, and lamb. A similar level of cargo transportation is expected this year.
In addition to this service, Korean Air operates one round trip daily on the same route.
