JAL to Launch ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ Special Livery Aircraft on October 21: Inaugural Flight from Haneda to Fukuoka

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Oriental Land are set to launch a domestic flight on October 21 featuring the ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ (Boeing 767-300ER, aircraft number: JA622J), a special livery aircraft themed after Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs.

The inaugural flight is scheduled to depart Tokyo/Haneda at 3:10 PM and arrive in Fukuoka at 5:00 PM on JAL323.

The aircraft’s exterior showcases iconic locations such as Arendelle Castle, Rapunzel’s Tower, and Captain Hook’s Jolly Roger, set against a backdrop of Disney fantasy worlds led by magical springs, with characters like Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan.

Special designs are also applied to headrest covers and paper cups. Additionally, the in-flight boarding melody will be changed to two songs, ‘You Can Fly Too!’ and ‘Journey to Fantasy Springs’, and three types of boarding proof stickers will be provided.

This special livery aircraft is a partnership between Tokyo Disney Resort and its official sponsor JAL, marking the sixth occasion of such collaboration, with plans for the aircraft to operate until November 2025.
