Hiroshima Electric Railway to Revise Fares for Trains and Buses in February – Implementing a Uniform Fare of 240 Yen Across All Lines
Hiroshima Electric Railway will implement a fare revision for its trains and buses on February 1, 2025.
For trains, although fares have previously varied according to distance, all lines will change to a uniform fare of 240 yen (currently from 140 yen to 270 yen), and for buses, the Hiroshima city uniform fare area will be expanded, raising fares to a uniform 240 yen (currently 220 yen). Outside the bus uniform fare area, fares will be increased by 30 yen to 80 yen.
When using the new ticketing system “MOBIRY DAYS”, a variable fare system of 150 yen to 220 yen will be applied for trains, and up to a 10% uniform discount will apply for buses. This fare revision is the first in 7 years for railways and 27 years for buses.
