Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba will be offering a ‘Snow Afternoon Tea Set’ themed around the color white from November 1st to December 31st.
The top tier features a ‘White Chocolate Dome’ with a white chocolate mousse and a sauce containing the flesh of the brand strawberry Royal Queen hidden inside. Breaking the dome reveals a strawberry sauce pouring out. The ‘Macaron’ imagined after a white strawberry is filled with a strawberry ganache. On the middle tier, there is an array of desserts using various fruits, such as ‘Banana Mousse with Caramel Cream’, ‘Lemon Tart’, and ‘Pear Bonbon Chocolate’.
The bottom tier offers savory items celebrating strawberries, such as ‘Strawberry and Prosciutto Burrata Cheese Caprese’, ‘Cold Potato and Strawberry Flakes Potage’, and a ‘White Burger’ with strawberry and roast beef on pure white focaccia dough. Drinks include Ronnefeldt teas and herbal teas.
The location is The Lobby Cafe on the lobby floor. Available from 1 PM to 5 PM with a 2-hour limit. The price is 6,800 yen (tax and service charge included), and it’s available for single patrons.
