British Airways Resumes Flights from London Gatwick to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi After Nearly 4 Years
British Airways has resumed seasonal scheduled flights between London/Gatwick and Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi starting October 28.
Flights from London/Gatwick will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while flights from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The service will increase to five times weekly in January and February 2025, and to four times weekly in March.
The flights will be operated by Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, configured with 32 business class seats, 48 premium economy seats, and 252 economy class seats, totaling 338 seats. The flight duration is approximately 11 hours and 55 minutes from London/Gatwick and 13 hours and 35 minutes from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi.
Through a codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways, seamless access to destinations such as Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap is also offered.
Thai Airways operates two round trips per day between London and Bangkok, and EVA Air operates one round trip per day between Heathrow and Suvarnabhumi.
