Cathay Pacific has launched a Hong Kong-Riyadh route on October 28.
The service operates three round trips a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flights utilize the Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a three-class configuration.
A ceremony was held at Hong Kong International Airport, attended by Patrick Healy, Chairman, Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer (CCO), and Hamad Al-Jebreen, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Hong Kong, celebrating the launch. On October 29, a cocktail reception was held in Riyadh with over 100 attendees.
This Middle Eastern route for Cathay Pacific follows its Hong Kong-Dubai service. The Hong Kong-Riyadh route supplements the existing cargo services.
