Keio Plaza Hotel Hosts Limited November Chestnut Dessert Fair
Keio Plaza Hotel is hosting a Chestnut Fair from November 1st to 30th, featuring five types of desserts made with chestnuts.
The desserts include a Japanese-style “Mille-feuille au Marron” (880 yen) with a harmony of chestnut’s sweetness and matcha’s bitterness, topped with marron chantilly chocolat; a chestnut-themed éclair named “Éclair au Marron” (860 yen) that resembles a Mont Blanc cake layered with caramel marron ganache, chocolate sponge, and custard cream; a “Japanese Chestnut and Cassis Mont Blanc” (980 yen) combining Ehime Prefecture’s chestnuts with cassis chantilly and cassis custard cream on tart dough; a “Terrine de Chocolat Marron” (1,980 yen) with whole chestnuts in a dough mixed with red wine and rum; and a Danish “Marron Cassis Chocolat” (580 yen) topped with homemade cassis jam, marron chocolat cream, and whole chestnuts in Danish dough.
Available at “Food Boutique Poppins” on the 2nd floor. All prices include tax.
