Cathay Pacific Airways Unveils New Premium Economy on Boeing 777-300ER
Rise Air to Introduce Three ATR72-600 Aircraft
Rise Air is set to introduce three ATR72-600 aircraft, marking the first time a Canadian airline has introduced this type of aircraft.
The aircraft have 68 seats and are equipped with Pratt & Whitney’s PW127XT engines, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 45% compared to regional jets of the same size. They feature large luggage racks, 18-inch wide seats, and upgraded air conditioning and heating systems. The first aircraft is expected by the end of 2025, and the remaining two will be leased and received by the end of 2026.
Rise Air is an Indigenous-owned airline based in Saskatchewan, Canada, with a fleet of 25 aircraft. Canada has eight other operators that operate more than 50 older generation ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft.
