AirBaltic, in partnership with Plusgrade, has launched a bid upgrade service.
Eligible passengers will receive an invitation email seven days before departure, offering them the opportunity to bid for business class seats. Winning bidders will enjoy all business class services, including priority check-in, enhanced luggage allowance, airport lounge access, onboard meals, and complimentary drinks including alcohol.
Winners cannot receive refunds for any pre-paid options, including seat selection. The luggage allowance and sports equipment will be transferred to the new booking.
By 2025, the introduction of additional premium products is also being considered, with a view to expanding the partnership.
