JR Kyushu has opened the ‘JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS Exchange Counter’ within the International Terminal of Fukuoka Airport on December 3rd.
The counter is designated for the distribution of ‘JR Kyushu Rail Passes’ that have been pre-reserved through websites or overseas travel agencies. No sales are conducted at the counter. It is located in the newly opened ‘Access Hall’ within the first-floor arrival lobby. Operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The ‘JR Kyushu Rail Pass’ is exclusive to foreign visitors to Japan with a ‘short-term stay’ residence status, offering unlimited travel on JR Kyushu trains. It is available for purchase through the website, overseas travel agencies, and at ‘Midori no Madoguchi’ (ticket offices) at select stations. There are six types of passes available, including the All Kyushu, Northern Kyushu, and Southern Kyushu (not available at this counter) editions, with options for 3, 5, or 7 days.
