Japan Airlines (JAL) is running the “Amazon Gift Card Bonus Exchange Rate Promotion,” where miles from the JAL Mileage Bank can be exchanged for Amazon gift cards at a higher exchange rate than usual, from December 16 to January 15, 2025.
Normally, 10,000 miles can be exchanged for a gift card worth 8,000 yen, but during this campaign, it can be exchanged for a card worth 10,000 yen. The exchange is available only in units of 10,000 miles, and the Amazon gift card’s validity period is 10 years from the date of redemption application.
