Jeju Air Offers Repatriation Flights for Passengers Using Muan Flights, Including Nagasaki and Taipei
Jeju Air has announced the operation of repatriation flights due to the closure of Muan International Airport following an incident.
Muan International Airport has been closed until 5 a.m. on January 1, 2025, following a belly landing of one of its planes on December 29th.
Consequently, passengers traveling between Muan and destinations such as Nagasaki, Kota Kinabalu, and Taipei/Taoyuan will be assisted with repatriation via Seoul/Incheon.
Jeju Air had been operating the only route connecting Muan with Japan, from Nagasaki to Muan, as a charter service three times a week since December 10th. The airline has announced the cancellation of the flights on December 31st.
