Air Canada to Offer Free High-Speed Wi-Fi Starting May
Air Canada will begin offering free high-speed Wi-Fi service from May, rolling out across its flights.
The service will start in May for North American and resort routes and will expand to long-haul international flights starting from 2026, with installation work to be completed by 2025. Wi-Fi will also be introduced for the first time on the DHC-8-Q400 aircraft operating from Toronto, with Bell providing support.
The service will be provided for free to Aeroplan members. Free text messaging services have been available since May 2023 and will be expanded to include support for streaming services.
