Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lowers Danger Levels in Parts of Bangladesh
The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated its danger information for Bangladesh, lowering the danger level for certain areas.
The danger level for all areas except the Chittagong (Chattogram) Hill Tracts (Khagrachari, Rangamati, and Bandarban districts) has been lowered to Level 1 (Caution).
From July to August of 2024, nationwide protests and demonstrations intensified, resulting in numerous casualties.
