JR East Launches ‘Kyun Pass’, Unlimited One-Day Rides on Weekdays for 10,000 Yen
JR East has started selling the ‘Travel on Weekdays! JR East Tabikyun Early Discount Pass’, which allows unlimited rides on JR East lines including shinkansen and limited express trains on weekdays, for 10,000 yen starting today, January 13th.
In addition to all JR East lines, the pass also covers ordinary and rapid trains between Naoetsu and Arai stations on the Ainokaze Toyama Railway line, the Iwate Galaxy Railway line, the Sanriku Railway line, the Hokuhoku Express line, and the Echigo TOKImeki Railway line, as well as non-reserved seats on shinkansen and limited express trains, and BRT, offering unlimited boarding and alighting for one day.
The price is 10,000 yen for one day and 18,000 yen for two days. The usage period is weekdays only from February 13th to March 13th. The two-day pass can be used only on two consecutive days. The ordinary car reserved seats on shinkansen and limited express trains can be used up to two times with the one-day pass and up to four times with the two-day pass.
Sales are limited to ‘Ekinet’ from one month to 14 days before the use date. There is no child fare.
