Osaka Metro to Install Face Recognition Gates at Namba Station, Expected to be Available to the Public by End of FY2024
JR West has resumed operations of the sightseeing train “Hanayome Noren”.
Operations had been suspended due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake and Oku-Noto heavy rains, but the train will run again as a charter-only special train for group tours. On March 7, it will operate as a travel product departing from Kansai by Nippon Travel Agency, and on March 8, as a charter tour by JR East View Tourism & Sales, aligning with the group-only temporary train “Connecting Hokuriku ~10th Anniversary ~” departing from Ueno. A departure ceremony will be held at Kanazawa Station on the first day of operations on the 7th, and a welcome event at Wakura Onsen Station.
After the reopening, irregular charter tours by travel agencies are planned.
