Tokaikisen will sell the student-only ‘Tomotabi Ticket’ for returns up until March 30 from February 3.
The ticket is a round trip between Tokyo Takeshiba Pier and Oshima, with a high-speed jet ferry on the outbound trip and a large passenger ship’s 2nd class Japanese-style room on the return trip. The ticket is valid for four days including the departure date and is available for junior high, high school, and university students.
The fare is 7,000 yen, and reservations can be made by phone from two months before the departure date until the day before. A student ID must be presented on the day of departure, and the large passenger ship cannot be used on the return trip on March 25, 26, and 27 due to the ship’s days off.
