Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase flights on the Nagoya/Chubu-Honolulu route from July 18.
Currently, the airline operates four round-trips per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, which will be increased to one round-trip per day. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787-9. The flight time is 7 hours and 35 minutes from Nagoya/Chubu and 8 hours and 10 minutes from Honolulu.
This route was suspended due to the pandemic but resumed regular services with one round-trip per week from August 2022, expanded to three round-trips per week from July 2023, and four round-trips per week from October of the same year.
