JAL Adjusts Tokyo/Haneda to Chicago Flight Schedule with Late Night Departure from Chicago

Japan Airlines (JAL) will change the schedule for the Tokyo/Haneda to Chicago route starting June 1.

This change aligns with the opening of the Tokyo/Narita to Chicago route, and flight JL9 departing from Chicago will change from a midday to a late night departure. A Tokyo/Narita-bound flight will be set at the same time as the previous midday departure. Both routes will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are equipped with 244 seats in total, featuring 8 First Class “JAL SUITE” seats in a “1-2-1” configuration, 49 Business Class “JAL SKY SUITE” seats in a “2-3-2” configuration, 40 Premium Economy Class “JAL SKY PREMIUM” seats in a “2-3-2” configuration, and 147 Economy Class “JAL SKY WIDER” seats in a “3-3-3” configuration.
