Japan Travel: Digital Taxi Ticket ‘GO Ticket’ First Adopted for Travel Products

Japan Travel and GO have first adopted the digital taxi ticket ‘GO Ticket’ for travel products.

The ‘GO Ticket Included! Taxi de Sapporo’ plan, part of the Red Balloon Free Plan Products (Hokkaido), went on sale starting February 20. The period is set from March 1 to April 30. Ticket codes are sent to the registered email address and can be used from the start date of travel.

‘GO Ticket’ allows users to easily pay taxi fares by setting it as a payment method on the taxi app ‘GO’. Initially launched as a corporate service feature, it is now also available for individual gift purchases.

There are plans to expand to other regions and tours for inbound foreign tourists in the future.
