WestJet is set to launch the Halifax-Amsterdam route on May 29.
The airline will operate up to six round trips per week using Boeing 737-8 aircraft. Beyond Amsterdam, access is available through a codeshare agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, offering through check-in and through baggage services.
This marks the first operation connecting the two cities in approximately 30 years, with WestJet being the sole operator. This summer, flights from Halifax will also include destinations such as Paris, London, Dublin, and Edinburgh.
