ANA Holdings is placing an order for up to 77 aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer.
The order breakdown includes 18 Boeing 787-9, 12 Boeing 737-8 (including 4 options), 24 Airbus A321neo, 3 Airbus A321XLR, and 20 Embraer E190-E2 (including 5 options).
The Boeing 787-9 will be used for ANA brand international flights, utilizing General Electric (GE) engines. The Embraer E190-E2 will cater to ANA brand domestic flights, aiming for flexible demand-supply adjustments in response to future business environment changes. 14 Airbus A321neo and 12 Boeing 737-8 will replace existing domestic fleet. Additionally, 10 Airbus A321neo and 3 Airbus A321XLR will update Peach Aviation’s fleet.
The expected delivery periods are from fiscal 2028 to 2031 for Boeing 787-9, from 2029 to 2033 for Boeing 737-8, from 2030 to 2032 for Airbus A321neo, in 2032 for Airbus A321XLR, and from 2028 to 2032 for Embraer E190-E2.
The catalog prices are approximately 1,042 billion yen for Boeing 787-9, 286 billion yen for Boeing 737-8, 504 billion yen for Airbus A321neo, 77 billion yen for Airbus A321XLR, and 249 billion yen for Embraer E190-E2. Among the 14 Airbus A321neo, engine selection is ongoing and thus the engine cost is not included.
Additionally, options for 10 Boeing 737-8 announced in January 2019, and 5 Boeing 787-9 announced in February 2020 have been exercised.
