Hotel New Otani Tokyo Announces Collaboration Stay Plan with ‘Bungo Stray Dogs’
InterContinental Tokyo Bay will be offering the “Strawberry × Crème Brûlée Parfait” and “Strawberry & Sakura Millefeuille Pancakes” as the third installment of their Strawberry Fair, from March 4 to April 30.
The “Strawberry × Crème Brûlée Parfait” (4,400 yen, drink set 5,280 yen), inspired by the gentle spring sunshine, features a caramelized orange liqueur-scented crème brûlée served atop a glass. The lower layers consist of white chocolate crunch, chantilly, raspberry compote, and layers of strawberry and raspberry gelée. It is topped with a custard pie made from homemade puff pastry, adorned with a pack of strawberries, Belle Rose, edible flowers, white currants, and strawberry ice cream. A set with two drinks and the “Chocolate Crêpe Suzette,” newly introduced in January, is also available (8,910 yen).
The “Strawberry & Sakura Millefeuille Pancakes” (3,300 yen, drink set 4,180 yen), depicting the image of cherry blossoms scattering, consist of four layers of pancake dough with fresh strawberries, strawberry buttercream, custard cream, and raspberry compote layered Millefeuille style. It is topped with sakura-flavored chantilly, sakura-flavored ice cream, meringue, and strawberry chocolate crunch, with a chocolate creation of a cherry blossom tree decorated with peach tuile.
The New York Lounge By InterContinental Tokyo Bay is open from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and the Hudson Lounge from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
