Nishitetsu Bus Kurume has announced that, starting December 1st, they will temporarily reduce the number of services on the Kurume to Fukuoka Airport express line.
Normally, there are 16 round trips totaling 32 services a day, but this will be cut down to 8 round trips totaling 16 services. For the Kurume-bound direction, the last service departing from the Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal North Bus Stop is usually at 10:20 PM; however, due to the consecutive cancellation of the last three services, it will temporarily change to 7:30 PM.
The reduction is due to a shortage of regular drivers compounded by additional absences because of illnesses including the flu and COVID-19. The company plans to return to the normal schedule as soon as the situation improves.
