Hotel Gajoen Tokyo will offer the “Sakura Afternoon Tea” for a limited time from March 15 to April 6.
The sweets include “Sakura and Rhubarb Crème d’Ange,” “Strawberry and Sakura Yuzu Tart,” “Sakura and Shio Koji Mousse,” “Sakura Bonbons,” “Sakura and Dainagon Roll,” and “Sakura and Sake Pound Cake,” which combine Japanese ingredients with cherry blossoms. Savory dishes include three items that use spring vegetables, mountain vegetables, and sakura shrimp: “Smoked Salmon and Mountain Vegetable Temari Sushi,” “Young Chicken and Spring Vegetable Fricassee,” and “Spring Cabbage and Sakura Shrimp Potage.”
Drinks include “Kyo no Sakura Sencha,” “Sakura Jasmine Tea,” “Sakura Rosehip Tea,” and “Blend Coffee.”
The venue is on the 1st floor at “New American Grill ‘KANADE TERRACE.'” Service hours are from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The price is 6,600 yen, with a cocktail for 8,360 yen, and with a glass of rosé sparkling wine for 8,470 yen (tax included, service charge not included). Limited quantity.
