Odate-Noshiro Airport discontinued its flip-flap type Flight Information Display System (FIDS) as of March 9.
Since its opening in 1998, the airport had used the flip-flap type, commonly known as ‘patapata’, but ended its use due to upgrade work. The new display board, a liquid crystal display type, was introduced on March 17. (Photo: @onj_airterminal on X)
