Alaska Airlines has launched new routes from Everett to Honolulu and from Portland to Miami.
The service will operate year-round with one round trip per day, expanding the Seattle area’s connection to Hawaii to two routes and adding a fourth route linking Portland with Florida, providing access to warmer destinations.
Departing from and arriving in the suburbs of Seattle, Everett offers an escape from congestion with the added benefit of utilizing the new facilities that opened in March 2019, which includes a smaller terminal and luxurious lounge options. The Portland-Miami route is expected to improve accessibility, considering the current inadequate connectivity between the airports.
