Malaysia Airlines is introducing the Airbus A330-900 on its Japan routes.
The aircraft will be deployed on the Tokyo/Narita to Kuala Lumpur route from September 15, and on the Osaka/Kansai to Kuala Lumpur route from December 29.
Malaysia Airlines first received the Airbus A330-900 in November 2024. The aircraft features a total of 297 seats, including 28 in business class and 269 in economy class. It also offers more spacious personal space, overhead luggage compartments, the latest in-flight entertainment, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Currently, the Tokyo/Narita to Kuala Lumpur route is serviced by the Airbus A350-900, and the Osaka/Kansai to Kuala Lumpur route by the Airbus A330-300.
