Japan Travel is holding a “New Passport Acquisition Campaign.”
Members of Japan Travel who register and utilize eligible products through the campaign’s dedicated website during the specified period will receive a discount coupon equivalent to the passport application fee. Guiding tours (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) offer 10,000 yen for ten-year passports and 5,000 yen for five-year passports, and overseas dynamic packages offer 5,000 yen for ten-year passports and 3,000 yen for five-year passports. Reservation period is from March 24 to May 30, 3:00 PM, and travel period is from July 1 to September 30.
Passports take about two weeks to be issued after application within Japan, and about two weeks to one month at embassies and consulates abroad.
