Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts will rebrand and open “Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Sendai Sakunami” on April 22.
The former Sakunami Onsen Takuzenkaku Iwamatsu Ryokan has been rebranded. It offers 101 guest rooms. A premium lounge themed as a “magnificent villa study” has been newly established in the lobby, providing free drinks including alcohol during check-in, post-bath, and throughout the stay. The restaurant features a modern Japanese interior utilizing yagura elements, and the dinner buffet offers meat and fish dishes, as well as Häagen-Dazs ice cream, appealing to all ages. Additionally, the hot spring includes 4 natural rock baths reminiscent of its original opening and 2 indoor baths.
Access is approximately 25 minutes from the Sendai Miyagi Interchange (IC) on the Tohoku Expressway.
