Japan Airlines (JAL) will feature an immersive theater “SoraCruise” in the “Flying Car Station” exhibit at the Osaka, Kansai Expo, opening on April 13.
JAL Group’s future vision “JAL FUTURE MAP” illustrates flying cars and is expressed through realistic imagery, three-dimensional sound, and floor vibrations, allowing visitors to experience the ‘Future Sky’ where next-generation mobility takes flight. The theater uses a 4-sided screen measuring 7 meters wide, 4.7 meters high, and 8 meters deep, with immersive visual, audio, and sensory technology provided by Sony PCL. Visitors can feel as if they are actually boarding a flying car. Besides the main theater, there is also a digital painting experience of flying cars, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
The location is Empowering Zone P-07. The theater screenings last approximately 15 minutes. Reservations are required to enter the Flying Car Station.
